Crochet X-stitch top

Finished garment measurements:

Chest: 39 ½ to 40 inches (depending on the stretchiness of the yarn used, Mine had some stretch to it)

Length: 20 inches from shoulder (including edging)

I would say that this top is size medium.

Notes: Ch4 counts as first DC+ch1

           Ch2 counts as first HDC

Materials needed:

I hook

H hook (for edging only)

Yarn needle

4 Stitch markers or contrasting color yarn to mark the sleeve rows.

Medium worsted weight yarn such as Red Heart tweed (similar to the recycled sweater yarn I used, my yarn had some little nubby bits) although I think Red Heart Plush, TLC amore, TLC cotton plus, or TLC Cara mia, would do equally well and Red Heart symphony could be very lovely.

I don’t know the exact yardage I used, but I would estimate about 3 1/2 to 4, 6 ounce skeins just to be on the safe side.
